Dahlia was very well received. Many people picked her up off the prize table, cooing at her loveliness. I gave out a few cards and the owner of Peekaboo! even commissioned me to make one for her and a few for her shop. So, overall, it was a very good day!
Clementine and Ella gave me far less trouble. Clem does have one floppy ear and I put her tag on the wrong side, but all in all, she was a resounding success! She and Ella and Charlie and Theo are going to live with a very nice woman in merry ol' England. I love it when something I made lives to be so well traveled!
Noodle is also finished and already adept at getting himself into all kinds of mischief. He even managed to locate himself into my shop, amid climbing trees and trying to ride my bike! He's almost too cute to sell, but if I went with that thought, I might never sell anything! I have to pay the bills somehow!
In amongst all this other excitement, I was nominated as a Rockin' Girl Blogger by Maritza and Ashley. Wow! Thank you so much, girls! And now, in the true spirit of community, I shall in turn, nominate ten more ladies, five for each of my nominations, because we all rock! HARDCORE!
Vanessa from A Fanciful Twist.
Sarah from A Stitch in Time.
Amy from Amstershiresauce.
Heather from Ask the Sky.
My friendly neighborhood Big Bucket Girl.
Miss Marjorie, sweet as can be, from Cozy Little Whimsy Nook.
Alice, the Futuregirl, herself.
Lisa from Losabia.
Molly from Mommycoddle.
Pink from Pink Mohair and Casapinka.
All of these ladies make me laugh, make me smile, make me happy for the future of humanity. They are tenacious women. Love them!
