I finally figured out what G is for

Giddy: This doll makes me giggle with giddiness.  I don't know what part of my brain manufactured this idea, but that part deserves a good service award.  Another of my Plush You entries.

Gloomy:  We've had nothing but rain for the past few days and will continue to have rain for a few more.  At least it's transitioned from gloomy/hot/humid to gloomy with a bit of chill.  Because I'm really tired of feeling like the air is licking me.

Genius: AKA me.*  My shower head was clogged up with lime deposits and I don't like using those caustic chemicals if I can avoid it.  I saw on some cable channel, when I was at my parents' house, that you can clean your shower head with denture cleaner.  I used three tabs, but either my shower head was just that bad, or it really doesn't work. So, instead of getting upset, I fixed it using the most technologically advanced tool known to man -- a folded out paper clip.  It worked.  I'm a genius.  So was that dude who invented the paper clip.

*Please note the modicum of sarcasm.

F is for...

Fantastic Findings:  My dad took me thrifting.  Because he loves me... and has a secret love for old crap.  As an aside, is that not the angriest salt shaker you've ever seen?!

Fabric:  How could we live without it?!

Friends: I've made so many wonderful friends through this blog.  Miss Vanessa, Sarah, Bucketgirl, Maritza, and Marjorie to name a very few.  Thank you for visiting me over and over again.  Your very presence warms my heart!

Diversion: So You Think You Can Dance  My mouth is still on my chest.  SO F*ING PHENOMENAL!

Dictionary:  What I've been using to do this meme.

Derisive: One of my favorite words.  I told my little niece that she was being derisive the other day -- she was cranky from no nap and a fun filled day -- and she looked at me, daggers shooting from her eyes and proclaimed, "NO! Izzy nice!"

Dad: Pretty much my favorite guy in the whole wide world.  And I'm positive he's the cutest dad too.  I mean look at him, people!  I would also appreciate some comments about his adorableness in this outfit, because he thought he looked like a "pumpkin mortician."  His words, not mine.

Delightful:  Having the opportunity to get to know all of you.

Doubt:  I am plagued with it, I'm afraid.

Dahlia: One of my favorite flowers.

Buttons:  Who among us doesn't love them, really?!

Babies: I can't wait to have my own!

Biscuits: Again with the YUM!

Burning: My town is small enough that we don't have a burn ban.  On occasion, that fact alone is enough to make me want to move.  I get headaches often enough as it is!

Books: These are just a small selection.  We have more books than fit on the shelves we have. Reading is fundamental!

Brownies: Perhaps my favorite dessert -- especially the edges!

Bride: We work pretty well together!

edit: OMG!  I forgot Brian and Blogging.  That's what I get for looking in a dictionary from 1955 for words!  I have a new dictionary, but it's sooooo big and heavy and my attention span is small and wimpy.

Air conditioning: How I wish I had some right now...

Argyle: My favorite pattern.  I would wear a suit of this, I think! Instead, I buy copious pairs of argyle socks.  Because no one wants to make me a suit.

Ability: Something I wish I had more of

Animation: My favorite form of movie.  Especially those films by Miyazaki.

Approval: Something I strive hard to gain

Acaudal: No matter how much I wish it otherwise.  Because, come on, having a tail would be super fly.

Acoustics: Am I the only one who likes to listen to themselves make noise?

Auburn: The color of my hair... on occasion

Agnostic: Maybe there is, maybe there isn't, but I'm going to need a heck of a lot more proof, either way.
